    Michael Lacki  

                                                            

Keyboard player and Vocalist , Mike Lacki is the Band Leader and the founding member of JOYRYDE.   Amongst his duties for JOYRYDE include band arrangements,  songwriting,  playing some Blues Harmonica, and co-producing the JOYRYDE recording projects with Dick Bauerle.   Mike was voted "Best Keyboardist" by the Buffalo Music Awards in 1985, 1986 & 1999.   A musician for over 35 years,  his background includes Rock,  Blues,  Country & Jazz. He has also lent his services as a sideman on numerous recording sessions of other local artists.  Along with JOYRYDE dates,  Mike also performs as a solo pianist, and has recently performed in New York City at the Red Blazer and the world famous Rainbow Room. 

 

       Johnna Scime


          

Johnna has been lead vocalist for JOYRYDE for almost 25 years.   5 time winner and 12 time nominee of the Buffalo Music Awards.   Studied with the late Vincent Mattina. 

Al Hury

                              

Al has been playing drums for over 35 years,  he is a veteran of many popular local bands. Al played in the New York City area for 10 years.  A Buffalo Music Award winner, he is also active in recording and playing Christian Music.  He is winner of the 2000 Buffalo Music Awards for Best Drummer.

 Dennis Parry

                            

Dennis has been with JOYRYDE for over 6 years.   Playing in the Buffalo circuit for 35 years, Dennis is a seasoned bass player and also a Buffalo Music Award nominee.   He has played on various recording projects, and is helping to co-produce the JOYRYDE CD.  Dennis is an established sideman for various Buffalo area Blues Bands, and is an avid guitar collector. 

Dick Bauerle

                           

Guitar Player and Vocalist, Dick Bauerle has been performing professionally since 1966.  He has been involved in many recording projects that have been released nationally, such as Gloria Loring's hit "Friends and Lovers", not to mention a track on the movie soundtrack from Mel Brooks "Spaceballs", that he wrote and produced.  Dick has had a Jazz CD released internationally, that stayed on the Jazz Charts in the Top 20 position for several weeks.  Dick has played in numerous local bands and was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 1986.
